The purpose of the reading group is to discuss with colleagues articles on key issues in second language teaching and second language acquisition to broaden our knowledge of teaching techniques and share problems that we face in the classroom. It is an opportunity to create an informal community of practice at the local level that helps us reflect on our teaching practices, sharpen our skills and have an impact on learning outcomes. We welcome reading suggestions from all participants, thus creating a variety of topics to reflect on.
