      1. CUSG Budget Process

        1. Budgets are submitted to finance board

        2. Legislative councils make recommendations of what should be included in the budgets.

      3. CEB has received all the funding that was requested.

      4. CUSG expects at least $8000 in revenue from tickets.

    2. Event Update

      2. We need to get all marketing approved by him

      3. Announcement date: (Tentatively) September 19 - 26th

      4. Event date: October 24- Macky Auditorium

        1. VIP Location: TBD

        2. Set up will start ~ 4:30- 5:00pm

        3. Tickets will start selling on Sep. 30th

      5. Chancellor will have a 30 minute interview with JK prior to the event starting.

      6. Be prepared about receiving questions about the speaker.

      7. A week before the event, Maya is planning to collaborate with Buff Discuss to have a debate to promote our event.

      8. Challenge: step out of your comfort zone and listen to what the other side has to say. 

      9. Should we let student orgs buy tickets in bulk for their org?

        1. Responses:

          2. Keep alloted percentages for bulk orders -  3

          3. Wait until a student org asks rather than telling organizations that it is an option. - yes

      10. How much should tickets be?

        1. Update: Safety approved. Everything is good to go; minus finance meeting this week. Question, “Will CEB be reimbursing the tables and chairs?”

        1. Update: The poster has been sent back with the suggested edits from CEB.

        1. Update: Have a finance meeting with Jamey 10/10 at 12 pm with Karen in place of JD.

          1. They sent us their poster, and I sent it out to get approved
