CEAE and other teams awarded $160M NSF-funded effort to promote climate resilience

Professor Evan Thomas is leading a CEAE team that along with others has won a $160 million, 10-year NSF Colorado-Wyoming Climate Resilience Engine (CO-WY Engine) in the inaugural Regional Innovation Engines program at NSF. This program is for development and commercialization of climate-resilient and sustainable technologies that will help communities across the region and the country monitor, mitigate and adapt to climate impacts.

Remembering Kaspar Willam (1940-2024)

Developed by a multi-institutional team under the leadership of Professor Gregor Henze, the innovative technology seeks to optimize energy consumption in both residential and commercial settings by intelligently adjusting usage based on detecting human presence.

Jorge Santiago Ramírez Núñez receives graduate fellowship

Jorge "Santi" Santiago Ramírez Núñez, a second-year PhD student advised by Associate Professor Aditi Bhaskar, was selected for the W. Mark Harty Memorial Engineering Fellowship Fund.
