The Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering is conducting a search for multiple tenure-track faculty positions to begin in 2016-2017 academic year. New faculty will add to existing strengths in interdisciplinary research thrusts such as energy, resilience and sustainability, structures and materials, geo-engineering, and civil engineering systems. The focus is on the following broad disciplines:

The search will also consider exceptional candidates in areas of structural engineering and structural mechanics, engineering science, civil systems and engineering for developing communities.

Successful candidates will be expected to engage in both undergraduate and graduate teaching, contribute to professional service, develop externally funded research programs and collaborate with other faculty. Professional registration or an ability to become a registered professional engineer is desired.
