I'm interested in Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN), AGN outflows, and galaxy mergers. I use observational tools such as the Apache Point Observatory and the Mapping Nearby Galaxies at Apache Point survey (MaNGA) to investigate AGN and galaxy mergers for large samples of galaxies. By specializing in spectroscopy, I can characterize the kinematics of AGN and their host galaxies and use this to learn about galaxy evolution, feedback, and SMBH-galaxy co-evolution.
