The Inclusion, Diversity, and Excellence in Academics (IDEA) Council and Senior Vice Chancellor Sonia DeLuca Fernández invites CU Boulder students, staff, and faculty to join us on Monday May 23, 2022, between 10:00am-11:30am for a joint public forum. Please join in-person or via zoom. This hybrid event is an opportunity for the campus community to come together in conversation around both the work that the IDEA Council has engaged over the past months and the new directions for campus as we move together to advance equity, inclusion, and belonging.

IDEA Council members will review the recommendations advanced to campus in academic year 2021 and offer quick updates on those recommendations before turning to the work that has comprised much of their labor this academic year. In that recent and ongoing work, IDEA Council members have met with numerous units across campus, including many of you, in conversation about how we, as a campus, prioritize the 15 student-facing recommendations. They will offer high level insight and share critical campus lessons and guiding principles.

The Senior Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion will introduce her team and discuss the alignment of the 5 campus wide goals with the recommendations in the IDEA Plan.

Of course, there will be plenty of time for conversation and questions.

You and your team/community can RSVP for the forum here: https://cuboulder.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJIvcOGurDgrGdxGv_pBEw_rCP3cweodAKdV

We will gather in the UMC 235 or by zoom. Once you register, you will receive the zoom link.
