The Center for Asian Studies is looking for a graduate student in a field related to Asian studies to join the CAS staff as a GRA for the 2018-19 academic year.  This position will focus on supporting and facilitating the Henry Luce Foundation funded initiative “China Made: Asian Infrastructures and the ‘China Model’ of Development.” More information about this project can be found here.

Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required.  We are particularly interested in candidates with HTML / website building and design experience and/or English-Chinese translation experience.  Primary duties will include building and maintaining the “China Made” website, maintaining the CAS website, maintaining the CAS database, assistance with planning and publicity for CAS events, preparation of data reports to the CAS director and staff.  This person must be organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and will perform without significant direct daily supervision.

This is a 50% RA position with an expectation of 20 hours per week on-site commitment.  The position caries a tuition waiver and standard monthly stipend
