Welcome, Testers!

Testing Services exists primarily to administer academic tests for admission and exemption purposes, plus some professional certification exams. These tests include national standardized and CU institutional tests such as GRE, TOEFL, SAT, CLEP, foreign language proficiency tests, etc. Some are offered in computer-based format only; others are paper-based only.

Also available are private test proctoring services for people taking distance education classes.  Private testing is offered by appointment at a fee of $15 per hour which is not prorated.  We ask a week’s notice for scheduling private appointments with exceptions made when scheduling permits.  There is $15 fee for same day appointments for private testing.

We do not provide the following:

  • Psychological or personality tests (e.g., Myers-Briggs, Do What You Are, Birkman Direct, and Strong Interest Inventory) (See Career Assessments for additional help.)
  • Disability diagnostics (Contact Disability Services.)
  • Advanced Placement tests (See College Board website.)
  • Test preparation courses
