Cat is the program director and career advisor for CU’s graduate student population. She develops and delivers comprehensive career programming as well as meeting with master’s and PhD students one-on-one for career advising and guidance. Cat holds an MA from the University of Kansas and a BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and spent some years as a PhD candidate at the University of British Columbia before leaving ABD, all in the field of classics. Her background as an instructor inspired her to continue working with students; she now coaches students in professional skills and development instead of teaching Greek and Latin, assisting them with goal-setting, strategy and their academic or industry job search.
Cat is an accomplished home cook, a film buff and a huge fan of the best dog breed on earth. Her dachshund’s name is Mulder.
