April grew up in southern Colorado and values her experience at MSU Denver while studying psychology in an urban environment. She loves exploring the wilderness of Colorado with her partner and their dogs, daydreaming of future travel plans and practicing her photography. As a lifelong learner and helper, she actively seeks out ways to improve herself, contribute to her community and live out her values to make the world a little bit better.
