David Woodson
PhD Candidate

David is a PhD student at CU Boulder, currently working on a project funded by the Bureau of Reclamation involving development of midterm streamflow forecast methods for the Upper Colorado River Basin based on climate model projections.

David earned a BS and MS in Civil Engineering at Virginia Tech and spent four years there working as a research assistant on projects related to urban hydrology and watershed management. Research interests include physical and statistical hydrologic modeling, climate change impacts on the Earth system, and GIS.

In his free time, David enjoys biking, hiking and growing vegetables.
