Students who are admitted to the Leeds School of Business or College of Engineering and Applied Science who are interested in the intersection of business, technology and engineering are eligible to apply. All students, regardless of gender, are encouraged to apply to the program and will be given full consideration.

Can I apply to both the BE Tech Scholars Program and the Women’s Empowerment Initiative?

Interested incoming students are encouraged to apply to both. Students are able to be in both programs simultaneously. The Women’s Empowerment Initiative is a one year program designed for freshman students, while the BE Tech Scholars program is a multi-year interdisciplinary program.

If I applied to either the BE Tech Scholars Program and/or the Women’s Initiative program, how do I apply to be in the Leeds RAP?

Please complete your housing form and indicate Leeds RAP as your first choice to be considered for one of these spaces.

I am an incoming engineering student. Which programs am I eligible to apply for?

As an admitted engineering student, you are eligible to apply to the BE Tech Scholars Program. 20 students from the College of Engineering and Applied Science who are interested in the intersection of business, technology and engineering will be admitted. All students, regardless of gender, are encouraged to apply to the program and will be given full consideration.

I am an pre-business or pre-engineering student. Am I eligible to apply?

Due to the limited amount of space in the programs and the Leeds RAP living preference for Leeds students, students admitted to the University of Colorado - Boulder as either pre-business or pre-engineering are currently not able to be considered for the Women’s Empowerment Initiative or BE Tech Scholars. However, the Women in Business Club and Women in Finance forums are open to all students regardless of major, age or gender.
