Trisha Bainbridge McKean leads the Leeds School of Business Advancement team as the Assistant Dean for Advancement and is a member of Dean Sharon Matusik’s leadership cabinet. Prior to becoming Assistant Dean, she served as Executive Director of Corporate and External Relations for Leeds. Advancement encompasses fundraising, engagement, and corporate and external relations.
Trisha is inspired in her work by a vision of positively transforming the world through education. She and her dedicated team are consistently recognized as top performers, driving revenue, engagement, and reputation locally and globally for Leeds and CU Boulder. With the partnership of generous supporters, the Advancement team has helped drive Leeds’ undergraduate program to a top 20 public ranking.
As a "boomerang" to the Leeds School with nearly 20 years of experience, Trisha has a strong ability to navigate the CU system and get things by aligning shared goals and passions. Trisha contributed to previous CU System campaigns, including Beyond Boundaries, which exceeded its $1 billion goal in 2003, and Creating Futures, which exceeded its $1.5 billion goal in 2013.
Prior to rejoining the Leeds School, Trisha served on the development team for Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business. At Georgetown she focused on an $83M capital campaign, traveling the country and engaging alumni to match their philanthropic passions with the McDonough School’s strategic priorities. Trisha holds an Executive Master's in Leadership from Georgetown and a BA in Economics with an emphasis in Management from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. She lives in Boulder with her husband Jess, a 2008 MBA graduate of the Leeds School, and their sons Quinn and Aden.
