Thad Satterfield is Director of University Relations and Recruiting for Phillips 66. Thad started his early career as an educator, serving as a teacher, principal, and Headmaster in both the public and private school sectors for 13 years. In 2003, Thad was named the CEO of the Bartlesville Regional United Way, where he led nonprofit and community development initiatives in Northeastern Oklahoma. In 2007, he joined ConocoPhillips as the Director of Marketing for Community Relations and managed operations for the Conoco and Phillips Petroleum Company Museums. In 2008, he became Supervisor of Functional Development for University New Hires in the Global Information Systems group. In 2009, he became Director of Strategic Staffing with oversight over recruiting, training, and functional development for the Information Technology organization. Thad’s organization within Phillips 66 includes U.S. recruiting, university philanthropic and portfolio management, and campus branding and marketing. Thad earned undergraduate degrees from The University of Tulsa and did his graduate work at Northeastern State and Oklahoma State Universities. Thad has served on the board of the Bartlesville Area Chamber of Commerce, and was the past chair of Leadership Bartlesville. Thad and his wife, Andrea, have two children: Andrew, age 18, and Abby Jane, age 16. Andrea has been a public school teacher for 22 years and currently teaches language arts at Central Middle School in Bartlesville Public Schools. Thad and his family are sports enthusiasts and attend local, collegiate, and professional games any time they can.
