Abby Cook is pursuing an emphasis in Finance along with a minor in Spanish and a certificate in Global Business. In addition to the Leeds Scholars Program, Abby is involved in Leeds Student Government and Women in Finance. She loves to travel and this past spring, studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain. One of her favorite memories of Scholars is going to Iceland and snorkeling between tectonic plates. Abby is excited to see what senior year will bring and wants to make the most of the rest of her time at CU!

Alisyn Kaiser is pursuing a dual area of emphasis in Marketing and Business Analytics with a minor in Spanish. In addition to being in LSP, she is involved in Leeds Consulting Group, the club swim and dive team, and was previously the VP of Finance for the CU American Marketing Association. Ali works for the Leeds Advancement department and as a TA during the school year. Ali studied abroad in Madrid to enhance her Spanish and intercultural communication skills. She is interested in pursuing technology consulting after she graduates. Outside of school, she enjoys spin classes, hiking, and cooking.

Anant Gupta is pursuing an emphasis in Marketing as well as a minor in Economics and certificates in Entrepreneurship and Social Responsibility & Ethics. Outside of the Leeds Scholars Program, he's involved in the Student Government, Consulting Group, Leeds Marketing Office, and the Diverse Scholars Program. This past summer, he's been interning at DaVita in their Venture Group and is excited about pursuing a future in problem-solving!

Andersen Dodge is an honors student studying Finance and Accounting with a minor in Leadership. Along with Leeds Scholars, she is involved in the Presidents Leadership Class, an active member of Chi Omega and has done research for professors within Leeds. She is passionate about skiing, playing field hockey, podcasts, any book by Jon Krakauer, and watching the Avs make a run for the Stanley Cup. Andersen will be returning as an Investment Banking Analyst at Lincoln International in New York City after graduation.

Ava Barnett is pursuing a dual area of emphasis in Finance and Accounting with a certificate in Operations and Information Management at the Leeds School of Business. Ava works as a Leeds Ambassador and is the former president of Leeds Consulting Group. She is also part of the BEWiT and Leeds Honors programs. She enjoys playing soccer, snowboarding, competing in case competitions, and watching Formula 1. Ava spent her summer interning in NYC for investment banking and hopes to return full-time.

Ben Breuch is currently pursuing an emphasis Marketing with a minor in Spanish. He is involved in the Fantasy Sports Club at CU, Alpha Kappa Psi the professional business fraternity, and the Leeds Peer2Peer mentoring program. Ben recently studied abroad in Spain in Spring 2023. Outside of academics Ben competes in Intermural sports, skis, and loves watching football.  

Brigid McNamara is studying Real Estate and Accounting with a minor in Leadership Studies. Along with the Leeds Scholars Program, she is involved in the Leeds Honors Program, Presidents Leadership Class, Leeds Student Government, and the University of Colorado Emergency Medical Services Club. After graduation, Brigid hopes to pursue a career in affordable housing. Her hobbies include skiing, knitting, and hiking.

Caleb Serrette is pursuing a double emphasis in Finance and Information Management with a minor in Sports Media. He is currently in his second year as an Account Management Intern for a start-up in Boulder that provides SaaS regarding social media moderation for many large global clients, with the goal of reducing toxicity on social platforms. Outside of school, he enjoys sports, playing fantasy football, skiing, trying weird foods, and traveling.

Charles Wells is studying Finance with integration in Computer Science along with a certificate in Entrepreneurship. He is involved in the Leeds Honors Program, Alpha Kappa Psi professional business fraternity, Leeds Consulting Group, and studied abroad in London in the Spring of 2023. Outside of school, Charlie enjoys skiing, playing spike ball, scuba diving, and has traveled to over 20 countries.

Daniel Gammon is pursuing an emphasis in Finance, a minor in Political Science, and certificates in Leadership and SRE. He is involved in Leeds Consulting Group, Leeds Investment and Trading Group, Leeds Investment Banking Club, and Leeds Ambassadors. He studied abroad in Sevilla, Spain, and interned over the summer in San Francisco. Daniel is originally from Fort Collins, Colorado. Outside of class, he loves to run, travel, and ski.

David Hopkins is pursuing a double major in Finance and Accounting. As a Boulder native, he enjoys hiking, fly fishing, and going to CU sporting events. At CU he is involved with Leeds Investment and Trading Group and Global Platinum Securities. His favorite memory with Leeds Scholars has been going to Iceland.

Garrett Eakin is from Parker, Colorado and he is pursuing a dual area of emphasis in Business Analytics and Information Management. He is a member of Sigma Chi and was also a part of the Leeds Investment and Trading Group. He enjoys boxing, lifting weights, making music, and spending time with friends and family. 

Harrison Cohen is an honors student pursuing a dual area of emphasis in Finance and Real Estate at the Leeds School of Business alongside a minor in Journalism through the College of Media, Communication, and Information. Outside of the Leeds Scholars Program, he is involved in the Leeds Consulting Group, the Conference on World Affairs, and the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity on campus. Outside of school, Harrison enjoys cheering on his hometown Arizona sports teams, competing in Mario Kart tournaments, and playing basketball.

Justin Gheleta is pursuing a dual emphasis in Finance and Information Management. Outside of Scholars, he is involved in Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity and the Leeds Peer2Peer Mentoring Program. Justin also enjoys climbing, playing the piano, soccer, and learning about renewables!

Kaela Gero is pursuing a dual emphasis in Finance and Business Analytics with certificates in Global Business and Entrepreneurial Studies. As a sophomore, Kaela interned in Private Equity at KSL Capital Partners and, more recently, Kaela interned in Asset Management at BlackRock. Outside of the Leeds Scholars and Honors Programs, Kaela is involved in her sorority (Chi Omega), tutors through Pick a Peer Tutoring, and mentors through the Peer2Peer mentor program. Kaela enjoys traveling, hiking, and skiing.

Kate Stanley is pursuing an emphasis in Marketing with a minor in Media Studies. Outside of the Leeds Scholars Program, Kate is a former executive member of her sorority, Alpha Chi Omega, and a member of the Leeds Investment and Trading Group. Last spring, Kate studied abroad in Milan, Italy. Outside of school, Kate enjoys baking, traveling, and spending time with friends.

Liza Aronson is from the coast of North Carolina and is pursuing a degree in Finance, on the Personal Financial Planning track, with a certificate in Leadership at the Leeds School of Business. Outside of the Leeds Scholars Program, she is involved in the Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity, as well as the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. Liza is an avid horseback rider and enjoys exploring the outdoors and traveling.

Luke Smith is an honors student studying Finance and Accounting, alongside minors in Mathematics and Economics and a certificate in Quantitative Finance. He is interested in portfolio management and investment banking as career paths. At CU, he is involved in the Leeds Consulting Group, Leeds Investment and Trading Group, and more. Outside of school, he enjoys hiking, playing tennis, and investing.

Marissa Metz is an honors student studying Business Analytics and Marketing with a minor in Spanish. She is involved in Leeds Consulting Group, CU American Marketing Association, CESR Fellows, and works as a part-time server at Foolish Craig's. She's been to 47 states, spent a semester abroad in Madrid, and did an internship abroad in Barcelona. She loves to travel, read, sit at coffee shops, and walk. She spent her past summer interning at Deloitte and is passionate about the field of consulting.

Mila Lusso is an honors student pursuing a dual area of emphasis in Finance and Leadership with a Global Business Certificate. During her time at CU, Mila has worked as an Employer Relations Ambassador for Leeds’ Office of Career Development and has been involved in Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, Leeds Student Government, and Leeds Mentoring Programs. She enjoys playing tennis, relaxing at the Buff Pool, and traveling.

Olivia Davis is an honors student pursuing a dual emphasis in Accounting and Real Estate. In addition to being a Leeds Scholar, Olivia is an active member of the Alpha Phi sorority and Real Estate Club. During the spring semester of her junior year, Olivia studied abroad in Barcelona to enhance her Spanish and intercultural communication skills. Outside of Leeds, you can find Olivia hiking the Flatirons, dancing with her friends at Red Rocks, and skiing Winter Park. As a 3rd generation CU student and Boulder native, she was born to be a Buff!

Paige Burns is an honors student studying Marketing as well as Computer Science through the Engineering School at CU. In addition to being in LSP, she is involved in Leeds Consulting Group and the President’s Leadership Class. She is passionate about sustainability and bridging the gender gap in technology fields. She studied abroad in Uppsala, Sweden her junior year. Outside of school, she enjoys traveling, hiking, photography, and snowboarding.

Peyton Biggers is studying Marketing and Business Analytics with a minor in Leadership Studies and a certificate in Social Responsibility and Ethics. Along with the Leeds Scholars Program, she is involved in the Leeds Honors Program, Presidents Leadership Class, and Leeds Consulting Group, and previously served as the President of the CU American Marketing Association. In Spring 2023, she studied abroad at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. After graduation, Peyton hopes to make a positive social impact using analytics in government consulting. Her hobbies include cooking vegetarian foods, traveling, and cheering on CU sports teams.

Phoebe Denenberg is a member of the esteemed Leeds Scholars Program, majoring in Business management, minoring in sociology, and pursuing a certificate in social responsibility and ethics. She loves to be outside, in the mountains or by the beach, hiking, swimming, skiing, etc.

Shayna Kliger is pursuing a Marketing emphasis with certificates in Entrepreneurial Studies and Operations & Information Management. Along with the Leeds Scholars Program, Shayna is a dedicated member of the Leeds Student Government, Chi Omega Sorority, and Professional Mentorship Program. Shayna has experience working with a variety of startup companies and continually seeks out entrepreneurial opportunities. She is currently working for Bevi as a Product Management intern and is a member of the Bessemer Venture Partners Fellowship Program. In her free time, Shayna enjoys traveling, photography, yoga, and skiing!

Siena Mauvais is an honors student studying Finance and Real estate. She is interested in commercial real estate acquisition and development. Siena is in Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and is a member of the Real Estate Club. Outside of school, she enjoys playing soccer, skiing, hiking, and traveling.

Sophia Nimsger is pursuing a dual area of emphasis in Finance and Business Analytics at the Leeds School of Business. Along with the Leeds Scholars Program, Sophia is involved in the Leeds Honors Program, the Leeds Investment and Trading Group, serves on the Executive Board of the Leeds Peer2Peer Mentoring Program and is a part of the professional business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi. When Sophia is not immersed in these activities, she enjoys going record shopping, skiing, attending concerts at Red Rocks, and exercising.

Tatum Lynch is an honors student studying Accounting at Leeds. She is hoping to attend law school in the Fall of 2024 and pursue business law in some capacity. Outside the classroom she enjoys quality time with friends, working out, and competing in triathlons.

Aaron Vadakkan is pursuing Finance and Ecology. He is inspired by all of the innovation and entrepreneurship in clean energy and regenerative agriculture and is passionate about learning how to use business as a force for good.

Adin Turetsky is an honors business student pursuing a dual emphasis in Finance and Real Estate. He is originally from northern Virginia but fell in love with Colorado when he spent his gap year in Silverthorne. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, mountain biking, fly fishing, photography, and traveling.

Aidan Flynn is a junior student pursuing an emphasis in Finance and Computer Science. He is currently a Digital Business Insights Intern at Skechers USA for Summer ‘23 and is utilizing data analytics for business solutions. He enjoys spearfishing, surfing, hiking, and cooking in his free time.

Alex Nguyen is a junior pursuing an emphasis in Information Management and Data Analytics at the Leeds School of Business. Alex works as a marketing intern for CU Athletics and is currently the VP of Strategy for Leeds Student Government. Alex enjoys playing basketball, building computers, and eating good food. After graduation, Alex hopes to make an impact in the business world through tech and data.

Alyssa Bullock is pursuing a dual emphasis in Finance and Accounting which she will apply to her career in investment management. She is extensively involved in the Leeds Investment & Trading Group, Investment Banking Club, and Leeds Student Government. Outside of classes and work, Alyssa is an avid reader of classics and enjoys journaling and gardening.

Amruta Kelshiker is pursuing a dual emphasis in Finance and Information Management. She serves as Vice President of the professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi, and is a member of the Club Tennis team. In her free time, Amruta loves to chat and connect with the people around her, try new foods, and workout!

Anika Knowles is majoring in Marketing with a minor in Sociology. She was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado, and is happy to continue her education in the amazing town she calls home. She is interested in furthering her academic involvement and personal development through community service, outreach projects, professional development seminars, experiential travel, and internships. She is looking forward to traveling abroad in the spring. Outside of school, Anika loves to hike, go to yoga classes, cook, read, and surf. 

Bianca Rubini-Tapernoux is pursuing an emphasis in Marketing with a minor in Political Science and certificates in Global Business and Ethics and Social Responsibility. She is the Chair of the Business Committee for the CU Boulder Conference on World Affairs, where she can explore her passion for business and global affairs by planning events and working with speakers from around the globe. She loves traveling, skiing, and trying foods from around the globe!

Brenden Coney is currently pursuing a dual emphasis in Real Estate and Finance with a certificate in Global Business. Along with the Scholars program, Brenden is also involved with the professional business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi and CUREC's Real Estate Fellows. Outside of academics, he enjoys spending time outdoors skiing, biking, and backpacking.

Camden Dempsey is a Boettcher Scholar and honors student from Arvada, CO pursuing a dual emphasis in Finance and Marketing, with a minor in Leadership.  He is a long snapper for the CU Football team, and is also involved in the Presidents Leadership Class, CU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, PAC-12 Student Athlete Leadership Team, and is a member of Delta Sigma Pi.  In his free time, Camden enjoys traveling, cooking, scuba diving, and learning guitar.  His favorite memory from the Leeds Scholars Program is the FGX trip to Iceland during his freshman year!

Carson Bunkers is from Minnesota and is studying Marketing at the Leeds School of Business with a minor in Creative Technology and Design. Carson works off-campus as a yoga instructor at CorePower Yoga. On campus, she is involved in the Women in Business Club and her sorority, Delta Gamma. In her free time, she loves to ski, spend time on the lake, travel, read, and enjoy time with friends and family.

Daniel Erger is a traveler, foodie, and stargazing enthusiast pursuing a dual emphasis in Finance and Business Analytics with a certificate in Global Environmental Affairs. He is active across campus as a member of Leeds Consulting Group, CU Hyperloop, Leeds Venture Club, and CU men’s soccer. Daniel loves consulting-style projects, startups, investing, and anything outdoors.

Dante Dino is pursuing a dual emphasis in Finance and Accounting. Dante works as a Portfolio Management Intern during the school year and is also involved in Leeds Student Government, Delta Sigma Pi, Leeds Consulting Group, and Global Platinum Securities. He enjoys skiing, concerts, cooking, and anything outdoors.

Eli Suchman is a junior at Leeds majoring in Marketing and Operations Management; he is also pursuing a Certificate in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Creative Writing. Along with the Scholars Program, Eli is a senior analyst at Leeds Consulting Group. Outside of school, Eli works as a property manager and development analyst for My Boulder Rental. He has a passion for surfing, backcountry snowboarding, and hiking.

Emma Delich is pursuing a double emphasis in Marketing and Accounting. Throughout her time in Boulder, she is excited to expand her scholastic, professional, and personal experience through travel, service, and other unique opportunities. She has a passion for cooking yummy food, health, skiing, traveling to new places with friends, and good music!

Emma Johnston is from Charlottesville, Virginia. She is pursuing a dual emphasis in Marketing and Social Responsibility and Sustainability. Outside of the Leeds Scholars Program, Emma is a member of Chi Omega, FreeRide, and is a Student Marketeer for Red Bull. Off campus, Emma loves being outdoors all year round from hiking to skiing and snowboarding, going to concerts, and being around friends and family. She loves being in Boulder and is excited for the upcoming years at CU.

Grace Trahan is studying Finance and pursuing a certificate in Quantitative Finance with a minor in Mathematics. She is involved with the Peer2Peer Mentoring Program at Leeds. Grace loves trying new recipes, embroidery, playing tennis, and ice cream. Her favorite memory so far has been the Scholars FGX to Iceland.

Harrison Cymbala is from Denver, Colorado. He is currently pursuing a degree in Finance and Accounting. At school, he is a member of many organizations including Colorado Credit Capital and the CESR fellows club. Outside of class, Harrison can be seen in the mountains on his bike or skis with his friends.

Kelly McVeigh is pursuing a double major in Business Leadership at Leeds and in Computer Science at the College of Engineering and Applied Science. She is currently serving as the Secretary for the CU Equestrian Team and works part-time as a social media coordinator for Zia Consulting. After college, she plans to attend law school and practice corporate law. In her free time, she enjoys social and ballroom dancing, painting, cooking, and playing the guitar.

MacKenzie Zapp is part of Chi Omega and loves it. MacKenzie is excited to enhance her marketing skills this upcoming year with her marketing classes. Over the summer she worked at Nordstrom and coached a kids’ soccer camp. Additionally, she loves to play soccer, hike, travel, and spend time with friends and family.

Matthew Baumgartner is from Huntington Beach, California, and pursuing an emphasis in Business Analytics. He is a member of the executive team of the Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity and is involved with giving campus tours through Student Ambassadors. Outside of school, he enjoys playing basketball at the rec center, reading, and being an avid follower of college football. 

Olivia Schmitz is pursuing a dual emphasis in Accounting and Marketing. Currently serving as the vice president of finance for my sorority Kappa Alpha Theta. I love to be outside when in Boulder and explore the area while spending time with friends.

Oscar Gonzalez-Moore is from San Francisco and is currently studying Marketing and Information Management at the Leeds School of Business. As a Leeds Scholar, he's deeply invested in discovering various facets of business. This summer, he'll gain practical experience through internships in sales and as a Chief of Staff intern. An avid traveler and outdoors enthusiast, Oscar relishes exploring new landscapes and experiences. Keen on maximizing his time at Leeds, he's eagerly anticipating the opportunities ahead.

Payton Coakley is from Chicago, Illinois, and double majoring in Business Analytics and Environmental Studies. Before beginning her freshman year at CU, she took a gap year and spent a semester in Hawaii, where she volunteered for U.S. National Parks Service and got scuba certified. She spends as much as possible traveling to new places, but when she's in Boulder, she spends time running at The Boulder Creek, getting matcha lattes on Pearl, or cooking with friends.

Quynh-Thi Nguyen is an honors student pursuing an emphasis in Finance with a minor in Economics. Alongside LSP, QT is involved with Leeds Student Government, AKPsi, Scholars of Finance, and VSA. She is originally from Wichita, Kansas, and loves to play golf and piano and cook in her free time.

Rachel Warren is pursuing a double emphasis in Accounting and Marketing with a minor in Political Science. In the Leeds School of Business, she is involved in the Leeds Scholars Program and works as a Leeds Ambassador. Rachel is planning on staying in Boulder after graduation to get her MS in Accounting & Taxation. In her free time, she enjoys networking, going to the gym, yoga, cyclebar, eating good food, and chatting with her friends.

Renner Skidmore is pursuing an emphasis in Information Management and Analytics with a Computer Science Integration, a Philosophy minor, and a certificate in Social Responsibility and Ethics. Along with the Scholars Program Renner is the President of the CESR (Center for Ethics and Social Responsibility) Fellows Club and a student representative on the CESR Advisory Board. Outside of school Renner is a professional skier and spends his time biking, fishing, and traveling.

Ryan Kane is pursuing a dual emphasis in Finance and Strategy & Entrepreneurship. Outside of LSP, he is involved in CESR Fellows, as well as the Chi Psi fraternity, where he oversaw the academic development of the chapter throughout the 2022-2023 school year. Ryan moved to Colorado from northern Virginia seeking new experiences, and spends most of his free time hiking, skiing, and cooking.

Sarah Rego is studying Finance and Accounting with a certificate in Global Business! On campus, she is part of the Leeds Student Government, the Brazilian club, Delta Sigma Pi, Chi Omega, and the Panhellenic Council. Outside of school, she is a tutor and works for RedBull as a Student Marketeer. My favorite thing about scholars is the first-year global experience. In her freshmen year, she went to Iceland for 10 days after learning about its business and culture and built such a tight-knit community in her cohort and even had the opportunity to be a student assistant for the Tokyo trip next year and meet even more scholars!

Trisha Tyagi is currently pursuing Finance, Business Analytics, and Information Management with a certificate in Social Responsibility and Ethics! She is the president of Leeds Student Government and has initiated a diversity, equity, and inclusion committee within the professional business fraternity, AKPsi. Outside of school and extracurriculars, Trisha enjoys chatting, fine cuisine, and Zumba!

Tyler Bianchi is studying Finance and Real Estate at Leeds. When he isn't at Koelbel, you can find him training with the club triathlon team, working at the Corner restaurant, or hanging out at his fraternity, Sigma Nu. Despite growing up on the California coast, some of his favorite Boulder activities include swimming in alpine lakes, biking up Flagstaff Road, free climbing the flatirons, cooking with his friends, and dying in Carson Bunkers’ hour-long sculpt class. Tyler attributes much of his academic and social success at Boulder to the Scholars’ directors and students and it isn't uncommon to see him hanging out in the Scholars office.

Weston Wolkov is pursuing a dual emphasis in Finance and Entrepreneurship with a minor in Leadership Studies. He is also a member of the Leeds Honors program and the President's Leadership Class. Weston is from Denver, Colorado, and loves playing football and basketball, skiing, and lifting weights. He is passionate about athletic performance and hopes to one day own his own business in this field.

Akshitha Bandi is a graduate of Fossil Ridge High School. She is planning on pursuing an emphasis in Finance with a certification in Quantitative Finance. She is an active member of Leeds Investment and Trading Group, Delta Sigma Pi, and Scholars of Finance. In her free time, Akshitha enjoys traveling, working out, and exploring Boulder with friends. She is very excited about all the new experiences and friendships she can gain through Leeds and the Scholars program!

Alex Dattilo is pursuing a dual emphasis in Finance and Accounting in addition to a certificate in Quantitative Finance along with minors in both Mathematics and Economics. Alex is also a member of the Norlin Scholars Program, and he is associated with Leeds Student Government, Leeds Consulting Group, and the Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Fraternity.  Outside of school, Alex enjoys snowboarding and volunteering at the Denver Zoo.

Anya Nelson is from Atlanta, Georgia. She is planning on pursuing a degree in Business with an emphasis in Finance. She has planned tennis since she was six years old, and she currently plays Division 1 tennis at the University of Colorado Boulder. In her free time, she likes shopping, baking, and listening to music. She is excited to see what the Leeds Scholars Program offers her over the years and to pursue a career in Finance at a large sports company.

Audrey Deck is an honors business student pursuing an emphasis in Finance as well as a certificate in Quantitative Finance. She is a founding member of the Kappa Theta Pi Nu colony and is involved in Leeds Investment and Trading Group, CU Quants, and Collar Scholars. Audrey is from Vail, Colorado, and in her free time enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, and cooking.

Ava Simko is an honors student pursuing emphases in Finance and Marketing with a minor in Spanish and a certificate in International Business. Alongside LSP, she is a member of the Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity, the Women in Finance Club, and is Director of Fall Philanthropy for her sorority, Delta Gamma. Ava currently resides in Virginia but has previously lived in Switzerland and New York. This has fostered her love of traveling - most recently having gone to Thailand with fellow scholars (thanks LSP)! Outside of school, she also enjoys running, pickleball, going to CU athletic events, and hanging out with friends!

Caroline Altstadter is pursuing a major in Marketing, a minor in Creative Technology and Design, and the Global Business Certificate. Outside of class, she serves on the executive committee of CU Boulder's Tri Delta chapter and the Collegiate Advisory Panel for national Tri Delta. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends, reading, and traveling.

Carson Carere is a Boettcher Scholar and Leeds Honors student pursuing a degree in Finance and a certificate in Global Business. In Leeds, he is active in Leeds Consulting Group, Leeds Student Government, and Delta Sigma Pi Business Fraternity. In his free time, Carson enjoys playing baseball and basketball, and he has recently been accepted for a Guinness World Record (most baseball bat spins in a minute).

Cat Pham graduated from Rock Canyon High School in Highlands Ranch, CO. Now at CU, she is pursuing a major in Finance, a minor in Philosophy, and a certificate in Entrepreneurship. She is also involved in Boulder Venture Club, Alpha Kappa Psi, and Scholars of Finance! She loves painting, baking, thrifting, and working out. She is super passionate about and is pursuing a career in venture capital.

Charlie Tell is an undecided business major, leaning towards a focus on Marketing. He is also pursuing a minor in Space. On top of this, Charlie is founding the Beta Kappa chapter of Delta Tau Delta at CU Boulder. In his free time, he enjoys being with friends, exploring nature, and listening to music. He is excited to continue taking advantage of the opportunities ahead of him in the Leeds Scholars Program with all the experiences it has to offer.

Elena Dunn is from Buena Vista, Colorado. In high school, she was involved in the performing arts. She also raced on the mountain bike team and volunteered as part of her school’s NHS chapter, Rotary International - Interact Club, and with her community theatre program. Now, she’s ecstatic to be part of Leeds Scholars and Honors as she pursues a Business Administration degree. Her current plan is to emphasize in Finance with the addition of the Personal Financial Planning track. She is earning a minor in Music, as well. Outside of the classroom, she is involved with Leeds’ Music Industry Club, the Dean’s Student Cabinet, and with the CU Choirs. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, reading, hiking, and pretending she’s a 1940s lounge singer.

Elina Hjelmaker grew up in Gothenburg, Sweden, and moved to the U.S. 7 years ago. At Leeds, she plans on studying Management and Entrepreneurship, as well as Sustainability and Global Business. She also plans on minoring in Spanish and hopefully studying abroad in a Spanish-speaking country. At Leeds, she is part of LSP, the CU Club Tennis Team, Women’s Empowerment, and CESR. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, trying new coffee shops, skiing, hiking, and going to concerts.

Eric Ringer is a Sophomore at Leeds studying Finance and Information Management. On campus, he enjoys getting involved in various clubs such as Leeds Investment and Trading Group and Leeds Student Government. He hopes to grow his interest in engineering by joining the CU Racing team and helping build a Formula SAE racecar. Outside of school, you can either find him fly fishing in the Boulder Canyon or carving turns at Eldora.

Gabriella Drnevich is from Philadelphia and majoring in Operational Management with the goal to work in College Basketball post-graduation. She also has minors in Sports Media and Leadership along with the Global Business Certificate. She works as a Leeds Ambassador and is involved in her sorority, intramural volleyball, and manages the CU women's basketball team! In her free time, she loves to explore Colorado, spend time with her friends, enjoy good food, and travel.

Gwenyth Brass is a Sophomore who is planning on studying Marketing at Leeds Business School and eventually earning her MBA! Born and raised outside of Boston, MA, she moved to Fort Collins, CO, in 2020. Gwenyth is also a member of the Leeds Women's Empowerment Initiative. She has interests in social media marketing, environmentally sustainable business practices, and graphic design. Outside of school, Gwenyth enjoys snowboarding, camping, concerts at Red Rocks, and spending time with friends and family.

Harrison Klein graduated from Plainfield North High School as a varsity football player. He plans to study finance and data analytics at Leeds and hopefully find a job overlapping his passion for people and business. Outside of school, Harrison loves to spend time with his friends and do nearly anything outdoors.

Harrison Klotz is an honors student from Dallas, Texas, pursuing a dual emphasis in Finance and Accounting with a minor in Economics. Around CU, he is involved in Alpha Kappa Psi, Leeds Investment & Trading Group, the Poker Club, and multiple intramural teams. Outside of the classroom, Harrison enjoys spending his free time attending concerts, snowboarding, bouldering, and working on his car. He hopes to one day have a job in corporate law to contribute to fair and responsible business practices to promote a more equitable and just society. His FGX to Japan was one of the highlights of his first year in the Scholars Program. 

Haven Koder Vancleave is currently looking to pursue an emphasis in Marketing and Global Business Certificate. She was born and raised in Colorado. As a Colorado native, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, playing soccer, and working out. On campus, she is currently the VP of Organizations for the Leeds Student Government and an active participant in BLC and CESR.

Jayden Kazantsev is pursuing a dual emphasis in Real Estate and Management and Entrepreneurship. On campus, he is deeply involved at the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship as an ambassador. He is a brother in Alpha Kappa Psi, a professional business fraternity, and is a CU Real Estate Fellow and Diverse Scholar. Off-campus, he is the Founder and CEO of his lawn care business, JMK Lawn Service, and is a founding member and the Chief of Staff of Walkthrough, a startup focusing on economic empowerment. He loves mountain biking, camping, playing ultimate frisbee, practicing Jiu-Jitsu, and meaningful conversations.

Jayed Khan was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and moved to Denver in 2016. At CU, he is majoring in Finance & Accounting with a minor in Economics. He is part of the Leeds Student Government, Leeds Investment and Trading Group, and Scholars of Finance. He is also interested in Real Estate as he was a Development Intern at Alliance Residential Company. Outside of school, Jayed loves to play soccer/basketball, weightlift, and poker and enjoys fun nights out with friends. His favorite moment at CU so far was interviewing Deion Sanders.

Jaque Spradley is originally from Frisco, Texas, and is pursuing a dual emphasis in Marketing and Business Analytics. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Psi and CESR Fellows. In the future, she hopes to work at an advertising firm, and in her free time, she loves to draw, paint, shop, and read.

Jasper Deen graduated in 2022 from Cheyenne Mountain High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Born and raised in Colorado, many of his favorite pastimes, such as snowboarding and hammocking, involve the outdoors. Jasper's competitive nature has acquainted him with a variety of unique hobbies over the years; his deep dives into everything from Rubik’s cubes to music and video games, have developed perspectives about creativity, goal setting, and relationship building. As an Account Services Intern for an independent advertising agency during the summer of '23, he hopes to parlay this project management experience into impactful contributions within his Leeds and CU Boulder community.

Kate Roscoe is pursuing a dual emphasis in Operations Management and Corporate Finance with a minor in International Affairs and a certificate in Global Business. Outside of the Leeds Scholars Program, Kate is involved in her sorority as the executive assistant for Kappa Alpha Theta, works as a Welcome Desk Associate for the Leeds School of Business, is an equipment manager for the football team, and is a Peer2Peer mentor. In her free time, Kate likes to travel, hike, try new things, and spend time with her family and friends.

Kathryn Nam is from Aurora, CO, and took a gap year after high school to travel and work. Now at CU, she is currently studying Finance and Accounting at Leeds. She is a rower on the Colorado Crew team and a speaker coach for TedxCU. She is passionate about traveling, adventure, and spending time with friends and family. If you can’t find her, she’s probably reading a book somewhere!

Kyan Nelson graduated from Ralston Valley High School in Arvada, Colorado. He played lacrosse and participated in various clubs. He took a more STEM-centered approach throughout high school before deciding to study business where he is now doing a dual emphasis in Finance and Business Analytics with the Computer Science Integration as well as a minor in Spanish. He is extremely passionate about learning and solving problems and can't wait to be part of the Scholars community.

Madeleine Hemstreet is a sophomore pursuing a dual emphasis in Business Analytics and Marketing. On campus, she is involved in several student organizations such as Alpha Kappa Psi, Leeds Consulting Group, and the Center for Ethics and Social Responsibility Fellowship. She is passionate about sustainability and travel and enjoys yoga, skiing, adventuring with friends, and trying new foods.

Maia Cullen is a current sophomore at the Leeds School of Business and participates in the Leeds Honors and Scholars Programs. Outside of the business school Maia is involved in Greek life and a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. She also dances on the Colorado Club Dance Team and is a part of the Program Council. She is planning on majoring in finance and marketing and earning a certificate in Global Business. In her free time, Maia enjoys skiing, hiking, and rafting. She also loves traveling and cannot wait to study abroad. Maia cannot wait to see what this year in Leeds holds.

Mason Levy is working towards an emphasis in Business Analytics and Finance with a minor in Economics. He is involved in the Leeds Scholars and Honors programs and Scholars of Finance, and he is the VP of Membership in Leeds Consulting Group. In his personal life, he avidly enjoys specialty coffee and loves exploring coffee from all around the world. He also has found a passion for endurance running and is working towards running his first marathon in the fall of 2023.

Maximiliano Pliego Mendiola is studying Finance. He is from Mexico City, Mexico, and graduated from Colegio Vista Hermosa, where he actively participated in the Model United Nations club and oversaw several community projects. He enjoys traveling to new places, trying new cuisines, going to the gym, skiing, and spending quality time with his friends and family. He intends to pursue a minor in Economics and certificates in Quantitative Finance and Business Leadership. He is excited about the opportunities and experiences that he’ll be able to live out, thanks to CU Boulder and the Leeds Scholars Program.

Meghan Fall is pursuing a major in Business with an emphasis on Marketing and a minor in Italian. Beyond her academic pursuits, Meghan is actively engaged on campus as the president of the Be the Match club, a Dalai Lama Fellow, and as a PAL's mentor for the Service and Social Action LLC. In her free time, Meghan explores the gluten-free food scene in Boulder while also enjoying cheering on her nephew at his hockey games.

Mia Scara is from Denver, Colorado and graduated from DSST Byers. She is double majoring in Film but is still undecided about which emphasis she wants to do within Business. She is currently involved in Leeds Student Government, Leeds Consulting Group, CUSG, and her favorite, Cooking Club! Outside of School and clubs, she loves to swim, read, cook (dm her for your favorite one-pot recipes), and travel. Fun Fact: Mia is an Eagle Scout!

Natalie Currie is an honors student pursuing a dual emphasis in Marketing and Business Analytics. She serves as the VP of Education for Leeds Consulting Group and is also an active member of the professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi. In her free time, Natalie loves to travel, box, and pretty much do anything outside.

Owen Grimmer graduated from the Vail Ski and Snowboard Academy as a full-time cross-country skier and lacrosse player. He's currently studying Finance and is a member of the Leeds Student Government and Global Platinum Securities. Outside of school, Owen enjoys skiing at Vail and Beaver Creek, mountain biking, watching basketball, and spending time with his friends.

Sammie Armatas is from Denver, CO (Sko Broncos). She is studying Marketing and plans to pursue the Business of Sports program. Alongside the Leeds Scholars Program, her main communities on campus include the Diverse Scholars Program, Mock Trial, Leeds Real Estate Club, Leeds Investment Trading, and being a Peer2Peer mentor. In her free time, Sammie enjoys hanging out with friends, skiing, grilling, satisfying her coffee addiction, and trying any new foods.

Sarah Adams is an honors business student pursuing Marketing, Molecular Biology, and an SRS certificate. Outside of class, she is in AKPsi, Women in Business, Collar Scholars, assisting with the Women's Empowerment Initiative, and the CU Gold Leadership program. She also serves as a Leeds Student Ambassador and a mentor in the Peer-to-Peer program. In her free time, she loves to explore Boulder, pet all the dogs on Pearl Street, and volunteer in the local community.

Sena Kavi is a native of Boulder, Colorado, and is currently planning on emphasizing in Marketing and minoring in Spanish. At Leeds, she is involved with Leeds Consulting Group, Leeds Student Government, and the Center for Ethics and Social Responsibility. Outside of school, she loves spending time with family and friends, reading, and traveling!

Sofia Gagliardi is a Leeds honors student pursuing a double emphasis in Finance and Marketing. Alongside LSP, she is an active representative of Leeds Student Government, Women’s Empowerment Initiative, Leeds Venture Club, and director of philanthropy for Alpha Phi - Beta Gamma Chapter. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and fly fishing with friends and family!

Sydney Sowl is from Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and is currently pursuing a dual area of emphasis in Accounting and Talent Management with a minor in Theater. Along with the Scholars Program, Sydney is participating in Peer2Peer mentoring. She enjoys music, theater, watching TV, and playing board games with friends.

Tyler Tolbert is a graduate of Cherry Creek High School in Greenwood Village, Colorado. There, he played football and ran track along while participating in the Student-Emmy-winning program: The Cherry Creek Sports Network. In his free time, he enjoys watching and playing sports, hanging out with friends, playing video games, and completing puzzles. Tyler will be pursuing a degree in Marketing at Leeds and he is very excited to meet new people and make lifelong memories in Boulder.

Yashwant Chapagain is from Aurora, Colorado, and is studying Finance and Information Management with a minor in Computer Science. Currently interning at Lockheed Martin on the Deep Space Exploration team. He loves weightlifting, coding, boxing, and going on adventures with his friends. He is very interested in the integration of technology and business and looks forward to having a role that integrates the two fields.

Zach Ditta is a sophomore pursuing a dual emphasis in Talent Management and Marketing with a minor in Music. On campus, he is the Director of Recruitment for his fraternity, Delta Tau Delta, and is also a member of Student Ambassadors. During his free time, he loves listening to and playing music, spending time with his friends, snowboarding, and going to concerts.

Zoe Unsell is pursuing a degree in Marketing with a certificate in Global Business. She is a Leeds LLC event planning intern, also involved in Dean’s Student Cabinet, Leeds Consulting Group, One to One casing, Peer2Peer mentoring, and the professional business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi. In her free time, Zoe loves to create art, bake, cook, travel, and ski.

Abad Velazco is a graduate of Pomona High School in Arvada, Colorado. At Pomona, he served as the NHS Secretary and actively participated in the Freshmen Leadership Program. Abad also embarked on an entrepreneurial journey by starting his own shoe-reselling business. With a passion for finance and accounting, he intends to major in the field. In his free time, Abad enjoys spending time with friends, playing soccer, and traveling. He is excited to be a part of LSP and looks forward to applying his skills and knowledge in the financial world.

Adolfo Castro-Cital is a Boulder native and Boulder High alumnus. He is going to the Leeds School of Business to pursue his passion for business and community service. Outside of academics, he enjoys modifying and working on cars with his group of friends. Adolfo also enjoys listening to a variety of different music genres. Adolfo hopes to use his education and opportunities to create a network of support for underrepresented students like him.

Anna Keim is a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Belmont, California. She enjoys playing lacrosse, traveling, spending time with friends, volunteering, and being outdoors. She is excited to explore and learn more about business through the Leeds Scholars Program and is really looking forward to the Freshman Global Experience.

Ava Crowley is a graduate of Vail Mountain School. Currently her major is undecided, but she is looking forward to delving into the business realm to determine an area of focus in the fall. Throughout her time in high school, she was a ski coach for the Ski and Snowboard Club Vail Future Stars and played both varsity golf and was a varsity ski racer for Vail Mountain School. She is a devoted vegetarian and has a deep love for animals. In her free time, she enjoys picking up a good book to read outside, spending time in the mountains, hanging out with friends, and being active. She is thrilled to be studying with Leeds for my next four years at CU.

Ava McCavit is a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas, Texas, where she participated in the International Baccalaureate Program.  Additionally, she was the Drum Major of the Woodrow Band for 2 years as a clarinetist, played on the girls’ soccer team for 4 years, and was involved in many other musical and athletic organizations in her community. Ava plans to study Business Analytics in the Leeds Scholars Program and be a member of the Golden Buffalo Marching Band. Ava is so excited to explore all that CU Boulder has to offer!

Bryce Owen graduated from Fountain-Fort Carson High School in Fountain, Colorado. He plans to pursue Operations Management at Leeds and aspires to start an ethical business with his older brother. During his time in high school, he participated in numerous clubs such as Student Council, Outdoor Adventure Program, DECA, National Honors Society, and LINK Leaders. He was also a three-sport athlete playing soccer, tennis, and club volleyball. Bryce can’t wait for his time at Boulder and is excited to be a member of the Leeds Scholars Program.

Carter Dernulc graduated from New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois. Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with friends, hiking, and playing sports. He is excited to further his knowledge in business and leadership through the Leeds Scholars Program.

Catly Nguyen graduated from Mountain Vista High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado where she was involved in FBLA, DECA, Student Leadership, NHS, FCCLA, and she played volleyball as well. She enjoys traveling, concerts, and spending time with her friends and family. She is super excited to be part of LSP and be part of a great community with great opportunities and experiences!

Chris Rojas graduated from Smoky Hill High School in Aurora, Colorado. During high school, he participated in FBLA and played sports such as soccer and volleyball to have fun and decompress. He plans on exploring more of what the business world has to offer and plans to minor in Computer Science. He has ambitions to start his own business.

Coco Goldman is a graduate of Lakewood High School in Lakewood, Colorado, where she was an active member in DECA, Key Club International, National Honors Society, and the Uganda-based non-profit Far Away Friends. In her free time, she enjoys various outdoor activities such as skiing and hiking, as well as spending time with friends. She is very excited about the Leeds Scholars Program and eager to participate in the prodigious opportunities offered at CU Boulder.

Cooper Cummings is a graduate of Westlake High School in Austin, Texas, where he was an officer in DECA as well as the founder of the Young Entrepreneurs Club. He enjoys playing the piano, being outside, wake surfing, and spending time with friends. He is pursuing a major in Management & Entrepreneurship and is thrilled to be a part of the Leeds Scholars Program.

Corbin Salinas is a graduate of Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas, Texas, where she was involved in the National Honor Society, Transfer Club, Morgan’s Message, and was the varsity lacrosse captain. She is excited to be part of the Leeds Scholars program and plans to major in Marketing with some sort of minor in art. She is excited about this new chapter at CU Boulder and can’t wait to make lifelong friendships.

Delaney Mosteller graduated from Heritage High School in Littleton, Colorado. In high school, Delaney was an active member and leader in Sources of Strength, Young Life, Student Government, the Student Leadership Strand for the Colorado Association of School Boards, and the NHS National Network on Mental Health and Wellness. She loves spending time outdoors with her friends and family skiing, mountain biking, playing soccer, traveling, hiking, and watching the sunset over the Rockies. She looks forward to pursuing the opportunities that CU and the Leeds Scholars Program have to offer.

Ella Alibegovic is a graduate of Westview High School in San Diego, CA, where she led the indoor varsity volleyball team for 2 years as team captain and was a 4-year varsity athlete in both indoor and beach volleyball. Motivated by her curiosity for other cultures and love for foreign languages, she also studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and fundraised for education, literacy, and worker opportunities in Hispanic countries while in high school. Ella is excited to be part of the Leeds Scholars Program and intends to study Management and Entrepreneurship in hopes of starting her own business. During her free time, Ella enjoys working out, spending time with friends, playing the guitar and piano, going on adventures, and trying new things.

Finn Stevens is pursuing a dual emphasis in Finance and Marketing with a certificate in Music Technology. Outside of school, Finn loves to write and listen to music, bike, ski, and spend time with friends and family.

Gabe Bazan graduated from San Marcos High School in Santa Barbara, California. At San Marcos, he was a member of the AAPLE Academy, Corporate Giving Foundation, Sustainable Future Club, NHS, and the soccer team. He enjoys spending time with friends (especially outdoors or surfing) and is really looking forward to picking up new hobbies and meeting new people.

Ginger Cusimano is a graduate of Paso Robles High School located in Paso Robles, CA. She was raised in a small town where she trained as a pre-professional dancer for over 10 years and participated in various community events in and outside of school. Ginger is excited to be part of the Leeds Scholars Program and plans to study Entrepreneurship. She is looking forward to her freshman year at the Leeds School of Business and cannot wait to experience life in Boulder, CO.

Giselle Wipper is a graduate of D'Evelyn High School in Littleton, Colorado, where she was an active member of the Student Council, Girls Mentoring, Sources of Strength, the D'Evelyn Service Corps, National Honor Society, Yearbook, and Shelly True Dance Academy. She also gained real-world business experience at Industrial Specialties Manufacturing as a Market Research Development and Business Intern. In her free time, she loves being outdoors, spending time with her friends and family, and traveling. Giselle is looking forward to being a part of the Leeds Scholars Program as she studies Management and Quantitative Finance at Boulder.

Gracie Taliaferro is from Cleveland, OH, and is a graduate of Independence High School. At Independence, she was involved in varsity volleyball, track and field, student council, National Honor Society, and color guard. Gracie has epilepsy and finds purpose through this experience by advocating for epilepsy awareness in her community. Gracie is planning on studying Management on the leadership track at CU Boulder. She plans on attending law school following her undergrad and becoming an attorney! Gracie enjoys working out, running, spending time with friends and family, and watching sports. She is so excited about Leeds Scholars, the FGX trip, and all the new people she will meet.

Hannah Mote graduated from Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, where she was a member of the Conservatory studying songwriting and artist development. She also participated in DECA and NHS, and in my free time, she enjoys writing songs, traveling with my family, skiing, and hanging out with friends. She will be pursuing a degree in Management and Entrepreneurship in the hopes of combining business with her passion for music to work in the music industry. She looks forward to studying abroad, meeting new people, and experiencing all the amazing opportunities that Leeds has to offer.

Ivan Holtzinger is a graduate of Lakewood High School in Lakewood, Colorado. In high school, he participated in student council, speech and debate, theatre, and mock trial. In his free time, Ivan loves creative writing, skiing, creating visual art, and playing the violin. He is thrilled to meet new people and make lasting memories through the Leeds Scholars Program, where he plans on studying Finance.

Jaikrit Johar graduated from Cherokee Trail High School, where he participated in various extracurriculars such as Speech and Debate and DECA and created a youth-led organization called ItsColorado dedicated to serving the Colorado Community. In his free time, he loves to be outdoors and play basketball and football or stay in and partake in origami and chess. He plans on studying Business Administration with an emphasis on Finance and Biochemistry. He is excited to be a part of the Leeds Scholars program and further his knowledge of the relationship between healthcare and business.

John Pullen is a graduate of Ponderosa High School. Prior to starting at the Leeds School of Business, he has been involved in the professional world through his time in DECA (in which he served on the State Executive Team) and through various jobs and internships, including at news websites and a major U.S. airline. He is passionate about using his business education to be a catalyst for positive change in the community.

Joshua Brown is a graduate of West Forsyth High School in Clemmons, North Carolina. He enjoys playing soccer and hanging out with his friends in his free time. He is excited to be a part of the Leeds Scholars Program, especially in making connections and the FGX trip.

Julia Bethune graduated from Monarch High School in Louisville, Colorado. During her high school career, she was highly involved in her DECA chapter including being a co-president in the 2022/2023 school year. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her dogs in addition to playing guitar, tennis, skiing, and spending as much time outside as possible. She cannot wait to further her academic career at CU Boulder in the Leeds Scholars program with an emphasis in Marketing.

Katelyn McHugh is a graduate of Heritage High School in Brentwood California. At Heritage, she was director of her school’s marketing committee, the treasurer of the Varsity Dance Team, involved in student leadership, and a member of the National Honor Society and California Scholarship Federation; she also founded her own club called the Society of Literary Analysis. In her free time, Katelyn likes to travel, dance, work out, and hang out with friends. She is planning on majoring in Business Marketing, minoring in Leadership Studies, and earning an International Business Certificate while being a part of the Leeds and Norlin Scholars Programs at CU. Katelyn is so excited to attend Boulder and can’t wait to meet everyone in the Fall!

Kate Jordan Little is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in Denver, Colorado, and is a fifth-generation Coloradan - the 23rd Buff in her family! In high school, Kate enjoyed participating in five varsity high school sports: gymnastics, cross country, swimming, diving, and golf. In addition, she also participated in TJ’s CCTM program, DECA, Skills USA, and Sustainability Club. She was a two-time Colorado DECA State Officer, this past year serving as the State President. Outside of school, Kate loves skiing, paddle boarding, and volunteering. At CU, Kate hopes to earn a degree in both Management and Environmental Science. She is excited to be involved in the Leeds Scholars Program and Presidents Leadership Class as a 2023 Boettcher Scholar and United States Presidential Scholar.

Keaton Helber was raised in Colorado, and he attended Kent Denver High School where he founded and ran the business club and worked at a student-run branch of MidFirst Bank. He hopes to study Marketing and Finance at Boulder. Keaton loves to play hockey, hike, and travel and will play club hockey at CU.

Kira Starick is a graduate of Golden High School in Golden, Colorado. She was involved in Student Council and was president of the Make-A-Wish school chapter. As an avid cyclist, she was a Legacy rider in the Colorado Mountain Bike League and team captain for all four high school years. Kira lives life with passion - enjoying the outdoors, traveling, working out, and going to Red Rocks concerts, while spending time with friends and family. She is excited to study business in the Leeds Scholars Program and is ready to take on anything Boulder has to offer!

Lars Reschenberg attended Fort Collins High School where he has lived his entire life. During his time at Fort Collins High School, he was an active member of the National Honor Society, DECA, and varsity soccer and track. Outside of school, he enjoys doing anything outdoors including fishing, hiking, hammocking, and skiing, just to say a few. He also loves traveling and spending time with his friends and family. He is pursuing Business Analytics and cannot wait for what the Leeds School of Business and the Scholars Program has to offer!

Lauren Elbert plans on studying Marketing at Leeds. She is motivated to join the Scholars Program to collaborate with like-minded individuals and expand her knowledge. She grew up in Franktown, Colorado, and loves the nature and the people of this state. She looks forward to the opportunities that the Scholars Program brings her. Along with the Scholars program, she plans to be involved in the Business and Engineering Women in Technology program and take advantage of all the opportunities that CU Boulder offers.

Lauren Everett is a graduate of The Woodlands High School in The Woodlands, TX, where she participated in DECA, Interact, and Model UN. She is planning to study Marketing in the Leeds Honors and Scholars programs, as well as a second major in Environmental Studies. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys watching movies and going to concerts and is excited to visit Red Rocks for the first time while attending Boulder.

Lauryn English is from San Luis Obispo, CA, and is majoring in Entrepreneurship with the goal of one day owning a real estate brokerage. Throughout her 4 years in high school, she played soccer and volleyball as well as raised sheep to show for FFA. In my free time, she loves hanging out with her friends, going to concerts, the beach, snowboarding, and traveling! She is excited to be part of the Leeds Scholars Program and further her knowledge about the business world.

Leah Kugel graduated from Monarch High School in Louisville, Colorado where she was an active member of the National Honor Society, Sign Language Honor Society, and Key Club, and she consistently was a top finisher in DECA competitions. Outside of academics, she loves to hang out with friends and family, go to concerts, play volleyball, and as a Boulder native do anything outside. She is super excited to be a freshman at Leeds in the Leeds Scholars Program to study Finance!

Logan Gero is a graduate of Legacy High School in Broomfield, Colorado. At Legacy High School, he was a member of the National Honor Society, Class Leadership, and the cross-country team. He also enjoyed being on the Youth Advisory Board at A Precious Child, coaching youth basketball, and managing his local Chick-fil-A. Outside of school and work, Logan enjoys spending time with friends, going to the gym, and traveling. Logan is looking forward to being a part of the Leeds Scholars program and can't wait to see all that CU Boulder has to offer!

Logan Nicoll is a graduate of Riverdale Ridge High School in Thornton, Colorado, where he participated in Student Leadership, National Honor Society, and soccer, and he served as CHSAA State Representative. In his free time, he loves to snowboard and travel around the world. Now as a member of the Leeds Honors and Scholars programs, he looks forward to exploring the world of business and making many new connections.

Louis Stempfer graduated from Dakota Ridge High School in Littleton Colorado where he was the Student Body President and was involved in numerous organizations. In his free time Louis enjoys rowing, spending time with friends and family, as well as traveling the world.

Maddie Meyers is a Colorado native from Highlands Ranch and graduated from Thunder Ridge. She was an active member of both DECA and FBLA, enjoys doing anything outdoors (skiing, hammocking, hiking), and loves to work out! She is interested in participating in Leeds Student Government and getting involved in CU's Greek Life. Maddie will likely be double majoring in Marketing and Business Analytics with a minor in Spanish. She looks forward to everything LSP has to offer and can't wait to be a Buff!

Madison Willis graduated from Pacific Ridge School in San Diego, California where she led several school and community groups, and played varsity soccer and lacrosse. She is excited to be a part of the Leeds Scholars Program, but she is currently undecided on her area of emphasis. She is passionate about sports and giving back to the community. She is looking forward to being a part of the Leeds Scholars Program and cannot wait to take advantage of the opportunities Boulder has to offer.

Michael Ahern graduated from Ralston Valley Highschool in Arvada, Colorado where he led and participated in several school clubs as well as played on the soccer team. In his free time, he enjoys watching and playing sports, cooking, and hiking. He is excited to take advantage of the opportunities that the Leeds Scholars and Honors Program offers and is looking forward to studying abroad.

Mollie Zerr is a graduate of Broomfield High School in Broomfield, Colorado. Throughout high school, she was actively involved with Women's Leadership, the National Honor Society, Blue Crew, and a Yearbook Editor in Chief. She was also a member of the dance team all four years and was captain in her junior and senior years. Mollie enjoys reading, dancing, meeting new people, and doing content creation. Mollie hopes to start her master’s during her senior year. She is very excited to participate in the Scholars Program and make lasting memories with new friends.

Molly Finnegan graduated from Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, IL. At Stevenson, she participated in the Freshman Mentor Program, Allied Basketball, and played on the girls’ Varsity Soccer Team. Molly is now planning on majoring in Marketing and can't wait to be a part of the Leeds Scholars Program! In her free time, she loves being outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and doing anything active.

Peyton MacKenzie graduated from Mount Si High School in Snoqualmie, Washington, where she was a varsity volleyball player and Valedictorian. In high school, Peyton was involved in NHS and the pottery club, and she was awarded the Washington State Honors Award for the class of 2023. In her free time, Peyton enjoys hiking, reading, and collecting vinyl records. She is excited to experience everything Boulder has to offer over the next four years.

Sawyer Hamilton is a graduate of Hough High School in Cornelius, North Carolina. There, he played lacrosse and football and was active in creating First Stick Programs and founding a pressure washing company. He is originally from the Bay Area in California and recently moved to North Carolina. He hopes to major in Finance at CU and is excited to experience all Boulder has to offer.

Sayed Ali Mosawi is a driven individual who completed his education at East High School in Denver. Currently a member of the Leeds Scholars Program, he is pursuing a major in Business. Alongside his studies, Sayed Ali is gaining practical experience through an apprenticeship in the IT field. He finds joy in spending quality time outdoors with friends, whether it's exploring nature through invigorating hikes or maintaining an active lifestyle at the gym.

Shane Lupella graduated from Downers Grove South High School in Illinois. Outside of school, he likes hanging out with friends, golfing, going to see concerts, and traveling. At Boulder, he is very excited to go on the global experience, build relationships with people around the country, and learn more about business.

Sofia Rindone is a freshman in the Leeds School of Business and is part of the Leeds Scholars and Honors programs. She is a Colorado native, graduated from Battle Mountain High School in Vail, Co, and is excited to continue her education in Colorado. She hopes to major in Marketing and plans to earn the Business of Sports Certificate. Outside of the classroom, Sofia enjoys spending time with her friends, playing lacrosse, and skiing.

Steel Wylie is from Dallas, TX, and is planning on pursuing a degree in Finance and Real Estate. Steel has a passion for business and has started a mobile detailing company, Come 2U Car Wash. Steel also loves watching and playing all sports, especially golf and basketball. He is excited to pursue his passions and hobbies while learning alongside new friends at Leeds while being a part of the Leeds Scholars Program.

Sydney Ament graduated from Heritage High School in Littleton, CO. Throughout high school Sydney had an active role in Student Government and YoungLife while also running cross country and playing on the soccer team. She is excited to push her comfort zone and try new things while at CU while continuing to do what she knows she loves: skiing, drinking coffee, listening to music, running, and being outside. Sydney is extremely grateful and hopeful for all the opportunities that Leeds Scholars and the Buff community will offer these next four years!

Tess Johnson graduated from Kit Carson High School where she was a three-sport, varsity athlete and participated in numerous extracurricular activities including wind ensemble and FFA. She was born and raised as a fifth-generation rancher on her family’s owned and operated cattle ranch—which inspired her passion to pursue a career in business. She is very eager to be a part of the tight community the Leeds Scholars Program has to offer and study business (currently open option) at Leeds.

Yusuf Hanif is from Grandview High School in Aurora, Colorado, where he participated in Speech and Debate as an extemper, was an FBLA officer for the school chapter, and competed at the national level in both clubs. Yusuf is passionate about multicultural exchange, exploring new places, and community service, as he was a representative in his school's Key Club and volunteered at his local Children's Hospital. In his free time, he enjoys reading, biking, and photography. He hopes to complete a degree in Finance as well as a Computer Science integration degree and earn a certificate in Quantitative Finance.

Zoe Cope is a Colorado native pursuing an emphasis in Finance and will be joining Business and Engineering Women in Technology this coming fall. Zoe spent the summer studying Spanish in Guatemala through a three-week intensive immersion school. She plans to continue her love for Spanish culture by studying abroad in Spain. Working towards her passion for women's rights, Zoe interned with WEALLRISE, an organization globally partnered with the United Nations Humans Rights. Outside of school, she enjoys playing the flute, cooking mac n cheese, and enjoying time spent with friends.
