MSBAThe MS Business Analytics degree focuses on the exciting and fast-growing field of big data. Designed to teach students how to translate data into strategic business decisions, our coursework integrates marketing and customer analytics with operations research, business analytics, computer science and statistical methods. Students may customize their course selection by specializing in marketing or decision science. This technical, quantitative and statistically intensive curriculum prepares students to excel in the field of business analytics.

Decision Science Track – 
Prerequisites:

1. A math or applied math bachelor’s degree
2. A minor in math or applied math, including the following courses:

a. 1 semester of pre-calculus algebra and trigonometry
b. 1 semester of pre-calculus probability and statistics
c. 3 semesters of calculus
d. 1 semester of ordinary differential equations
e. 1 semester of advanced calculus or undergraduate analysis
f. 1 semester of linear algebra
g. 1 semester of post calculus probability
h. 1 semester of post calculus algebra or complex analysis
i. 1 semester of post calculus statistics, partial differential equations, or other upper division mathematics  
j. R, Python, MatLab, or equivalent coding background is optimal but not required
