Melinda is the Oil & Gas Leader for Deloitte’s Merger & Acquisition Transaction Services practice. She has over 20 years of public accounting experience serving both public and private companies in various industries and has spent the last 12 years assisting her clients with pre-acquisition due diligence, transaction structuring, sell-side preparation assistance, purchase accounting, and accounting consultative services. Melinda has led numerous M&A teams, both foreign and domestic, on various acquisition and divestitures on over 100 transactions for both corporate and private equity buyers.
After graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Melinda started her public accounting career with Deloitte’s Audit practice in Denver before transferring to Rome, Italy, Dallas, and Houston, where she currently resides. She enjoys traveling to foreign lands, studying languages (including Japanese and Italian), and hiking.
Melinda is an active United Way volunteer and currently serves on the Women of Tocqueville Steering Committee for the Dallas chapter and has previously served on the Grant and Stewardship Committees. She is a founder of the North Texas Chapter of Women in Energy Network and currently serves on the Advisory Board for the chapter.
