Maria Nondorf joined the Leeds School of Business in July 2014 and her role includes leading and advising students in the school’s MSBA Accounting programs. Additionally, Nondorf teaches intermediate and advanced financial topics across all Leeds programs. Prior to joining Leeds, she spent eleven years as a professor and executive director of the Center for Financial Reporting and Management at the University of California, Berkeley. While in the Bay Area, Nondorf was named one of San Francisco Business Times’ Most Influential Women in Business in 2012 and 2013. Nondorf completed her PhD in 2003 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before pursuing her PhD, she was a senior manager in the Corporate Finance Transaction Services Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York, NY. She is a CPA in the State of Georgia where she received a BBA in accounting from Mercer University.
