Xingtan Zhang is an Assistant Professor of Finance in the Leeds School of Business. He received his Ph.D. in applied economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 2017. Before that, he received a Ph.D. in applied math from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in mathematics from Peking University.
Xingtan's main research interests are broadly in information economics, financial institutions, mechanism design, market microstructure, and behavioral contract theory. His work has been published in Journal of Economic Theory and Journal of Financial Intermediation.
