Timothy McQuade is an Associate Professor of Finance at the Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado Boulder. He also serves as the Research Director of the CU Real Estate Center. Professor McQuade's core research interests lie in issues related to real estate economics, household finance, and innovation. Previous work has studied the local welfare effects of affordable housing, the consequences of rent control, and optimal mortgage design. Prior to joining the Leeds School of Business, Professor McQuade was an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance at the Kellogg School of Management. Professor McQuade received his PhD in economics from Harvard University in 2013.
