Justine Roberts is Program Manager and Communications Manager for CESR. She works with graduate students and the business community to design experiences that build networks and capacity, and with faculty to promote thought leadership in the social impact sector. Her goal is to ensure students have the skills, knowledge and networks to become the next generation of business leaders in CSR, the clean energy transition, the natural and organic industry, and more. She is motivated by building resilient and relevant organizations that promote deep and durable impacts.
Justine’s career has been in purpose driven environments, specifically education, non-profit management and strategy. She was principal of Gyroscope, Inc., a consulting firm helping cultural institutions navigate major organizational inflection points, capital campaigns and strategic shifts. She served as Executive Director of cultural non-profits on two occasions; first guiding a turnaround process for the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire, and second running Celebrate the Beat, a state-wide arts education program serving under resourced communities across Colorado. Justine also spent five years in the educational technology sector where she designed and launched commercial products for markets in the USA and Europe. She has a B.A. in History from Oberlin College and a Master in Education from the Bank Street School of Education in NYC, and a Certificate in CSR from Leeds.
