Jeff retired in December 2012 from his position as Chief Financial Officer of Vail Resorts, Inc. (NYSE: MTN) where he also served as President-Lodging, Retail and Real Estate and held a seat on the Vail Resorts Board of Directors. Jeff had been with Vail since 2003.

At Vail, Jeff held overall responsibility for the finance, accounting, treasury and investor relations functions as well as operations oversight of the lodging, retail, and real estate segments of this publicly traded company (NYSE: MTN), which is the premier mountain resort operator in the world with over ten world-class ski resort properties, over 100 dining operations, 170 retail locations, online retail operations, ownership and management of over 15 hotels and numerous condominium properties representing in excess of 4,000 rooms, national park concession operations, seven golf courses, ground transportation, private clubs and luxury real estate development. Jeff also was the leader of the deal teams responsible for several acquisitions during his tenure at Vail Resorts. Prior to Vail, Jeff was CFO of multiple companies primarily in the retail sector.

Jeff is very involved in the business community as a Director where he currently serves on the Boards of Summit Hotel Properties (NYSE: INN), Noodles & Company (NASDAQ: NDLS), Diamond Resorts International (NYSE: DRII) and Hershey Entertainment & Resorts. He is Chairman of the Audit Committees for Summit Hotel Properties, Noodles & Company and Hershey Entertainment & Resorts and is a member of the Audit Committee for Diamond Resorts International and a member of the Compensation and Governance Committees for Summit Hotel Properties. Also, Jeff is a Director of the Advisory Board of U.S. Bank and is a Director of the Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado Boulder. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He also sits on the Father’s Day Council of the American Diabetes Association and was a 2012 Colorado Father of the Year honoree. 

Jeff, his wife Donna, and three children have lived in Boulder, Colorado for the past ten years. He has coached youth baseball in South Boulder for the past six years and is currently General Manager and Assistant Coach of the Knight Time Baseball 13U competitive baseball team. Jeff enjoys coaching youth sports, skiing and traveling with his family.
