Former Deming Ambassador
Deming Center for Entrepreneurship

Jayden Kazantsev is originally from an island in Washington State named Whidbey. He moved to Boulder County when he was nine to seek better schooling to address his severe Dyslexia. He didn't learn how to read until he was 12, so instead, he fell in love with business audiobooks and started mowing lawns. When he turned 16, he took all the cash he saved up and bought a truck, trailer, and new mowing equipment. Two summers later, his lawn care business has grown to have over eight employees, three trucks, and servicing over 84 properties per week.

On top of running my business, he is studying personal financial planning and real estate and hopes to get certificates in entrepreneurship and global business. On my current path, he will be graduating in the Summer of 2025.

He plans to keep and grow his business throughout college and eventually get into real estate rental properties to be financially free by his early 20s. This ambitious goal, he believes, will allow him the freedom to help others and start businesses of his own without being financially trapped. Basically, having the freedom to do what he wants, when he wants, because he wants to, not because he has to make ends meet.
