A Foundation for Success

The undergraduate real estate area of emphasis (major) program is open to current Leeds students. The area of emphasis consists of a total of 18 credit hours of course work. Students who successfully complete all the course requirements will be awarded a Bachelors of Business Administration with the Real Estate area of emphasis.  Leeds alumni go on to successful real estate careers thanks to a unique curriculum and close engagement with industry and the CU Real Estate Center.

Academics

The emphasis is designed to give students a thorough, multidisciplinary understanding of real estate. It prepares students for a real estate career by providing a solid foundation in capital markets, developing students' decision-making skills, and framing real-world challenges in a multidisciplinary context.

Certifications and Licenses

Technical Training

Students master ARGUS-DCF® Enterprise, advanced Excel modeling and other software tools during their coursework.  ARGUS Enterprise is a software training and certification course designed to provide users with real-world and hands-on case studies to breakdown the financials of a commercial real estate lease over time.

Alumni and industry partners allow CUREC to host a packed calendar of invaluable professional development events, including career treks to companies here and abroad.
