Carly
Academic Advisor
Undergraduate Programs

Koelbel 201

Carly was born and raised in Florida but would definitely not call herself a Floridian. She completed her BS in Exercise Physiology at Florida State University and was awarded her MS in College Counseling and Student Development at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. Between schooling, Carly spent some time working in Vail, Colorado where she worked with employees from over 16 different countries and had to take a gondola and chair lift to work each day! During her time as a graduate student, Carly worked with the Advising & Student Transitions team, Advising & Registration Days, University Program Board and with student-athletes. Most recently, she worked at Utah State University as an Academic Advisor in the College of Engineering; and helped coordinate Engineering Orientation while also serving on multiple retention initiatives. She is really excited to be working with Leeds students and cannot wait to meet everyone!

She loves the mountains, the outdoors, sports, food, road-trips, reading and any activity that brings her to new places and creates new experiences. She is a huge traveler and always welcomes recommendations! College football is her favorite sport but she also really enjoys baseball (go Twins!). One of her goals this summer is to go on her first alpine-lake backpacking trip!”
