This issue of the CBR highlights the economy of Northeastern Colorado, which comprises 10 counties—Cheyenne, Elbert, Kit Carson, Lincoln, Logan, Morgan, Phillips, Sedgwick, Washington, and Yuma. With 112,861 residents, the region’s population is at its highest level since 1990. Agriculture, government, retail trade, and manufacturing accounted for 48.6% of total employment and 57.2% of total output in the region in 2015
