What Does it Take to Get an MBA Degree from the CU Leeds School of Business?
At the CU Leeds School of Business, we offer a full time MBA program and an evening part time MBA in our two locations: CU Boulder and CU South Denver in Parker, Colorado. Our Master of Business Administration core curriculum provides classes in the following areas: economics, accounting, finance, quantitative methods, operations management, corporate social responsibility and corporate strategy. In addition to focusing on one of the main areas of study, you can specialize in entrepreneurship, real estate or sustainability.
To complete your degree, we require 31 credits of core courses and 24 credits of elective courses for a total of 55 credits. Earning your MBA requires gaining a full understanding of the core areas, and more importantly, how those pieces fit together in modern business. To get into our MBA program, you’ll need to meet certain requirements such as providing your undergraduate degree transcript and GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) or GRE (Graduate Record Examination) test scores. Our full time MBA program includes the opportunity to have a summer internship so you can gain professional experience to help you focus on elective classes. Our flexible part time MBA is designed for working professionals and it provides the opportunity to learn from other professionals. Our evening MBA Program has been ranked as the best part-time MBA in Colorado.
