The tuition assistance benefit covers the cost of tuition or a portion of tuition depending on your enrolled hours. It does not cover fees. If you are a Colorado resident undergraduate student (check your residency status in MyCUInfo), the benefit does not cover the portion of tuition paid by the College Opportunity Fund.

Billing

Dependents attending CU Boulder are responsible for paying the same fees that other students pay. The tuition discount (will show as “Staff Dependent Waiver” on the bill) for dependents of Boulder employees apply to tuition (student share for Colorado resident undergraduates).

    The Immigration Compliance Fee will be waived for faculty and staff with F1 or J1 visas.

    Employees do not pay athletic fee, recreation center expansion fee, student activity fee, student health fee, mental health resource fee, career services and student bus and bike programs (approx $546 total).
