Two recently published scientific articles feature former CU Boulder undergraduates as co-authors, recognizing the hard work and contributions of these students to the lab's research during their time at CU.
Darian Williams, a participant in the BURST and UROP-HHMI (now BSI Scholars) program, contributed to the publication entitled Muscle stem cell dysfunction impairs muscle regeneration in a mouse model of Down syndrome out of Dr. Brad Olwin's lab of the Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology department. Read the abstract of this paper here. Williams is now pursuing his PhD at Emory University.
Josephina Hendrix worked in the lab of Dr. Robin Dowell during her time in the BURST (now BSI Scholars) program. Their publication, Enhancer RNA profiling predicts transcription factor activity, was featured as the cover story in the March 2018 edition of Genome Research. Read the abstract of this paper here.
Congratulations, Darian and Josephina!
