On Monday, April 23 on the CU Boulder main campus, 21 undergraduate researchers sponsored by the Biological Sciences Initiative (BSI) gathered to share the research they have conducted in their labs over the 2017-18 academic year.
Students presented research from many faculty labs and departments across campus. Departments represented included Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology, Integrative Physiology, Biochemistry, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Psychology and Neuroscience, and Geological Sciences.
These students have all previously received funding from the Biological Sciences Initiative. All participants have been working in research labs for at least one year, and several have been conducting research for two or more years.
BSI would like to thank the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and the University of Colorado Boulder for their support of its programs.
