student societiesSeveral diversity-serving, professional engineering societies have their CU-Boulder chapter offices in The BOLD Center. These societies provide a variety of functions, including hosting guest speakers, organizing social events, sponsoring student attendance at national conferences, and sponsoring entries in national competitions. They’re a great way to start making a world of difference as an engineer, even before you graduate! Membership in professional societies is open to anyone who supports the organization’s mission.

The professional student engineering organizations represented in The BOLD Center include the following. Please contact individual societies for membership information.

The BOLD Center is also home to the Student Leadership Council (SLC), which consists of student representatives from the various student societies, the GoldShirt Program, and academic cohorts. The SLC is involved in organizing events and taking on initiatives to bring a broad spectrum of students together.
