Our scholars belong to multiple communities and lead full lives. We encourage you to reflect on the following as you discover yourself in relation to others on this journey known as college:
- What moves you: your values, your interests, your natural inclinations, etc. What choices have you made and can you make that will help you create a path that aligns with those things? What support do you need in order to make these choices?
- What are the communities you now identify with? What do you gain from participating in those communities? As a member of those different groups what do you have to offer the rest of us? For that matter, how do you define this idea we call community?
- Perhaps most importantly: We invite you to take the risk of making mistakes, not knowing, and being vulnerable. You’ll learn immensely if you do!
