I am originally from Los Angeles, CA but I recently moved to Colorado in 2021. Colorado has always been a place I loved to visit, it always felt welcoming, and I enjoyed the scenic outdoors. Before moving to Colorado, I received my master's in Higher Education at Syracuse University. Before that, I received my bachelor’s degree in Sociology at California State University-Chico in northern California. I’ve always appreciated the opportunities that have come through education. I firmly believe that education opens doors that I had never considered before. My goals are to continue to provide access and support for students as they pursue their educational goals. I enjoy being a resource for the continued success of others. Supporting underrepresented student populations is also something very important to me as I was the first in my family to receive not only one degree but two. I look forward to assisting students in my role and doing my best to support them.
In my free time, I love watching Marvel movies or series, exploring new places, and trying new foods or places to eat.
