Kelsey Tayne is a PhD student in the School of Education at the University of Colorado Boulder. Her doctoral training is in science education and the learning sciences. Advised by Susan Jurow and Erin Furtak, her research involves designing and collaborating with teachers to develop more equitable and student-centered environments and making learning opportunities at the K-12 level. Her primary research focus is designing learning opportunities that support youth in taking action on climate change and other environmental challenges.
