Teaching, Learning, and Technology Initiatives Coordinator

Meet Sara Myers, Teaching, Learning, and Technology Initiatives Coordinator. Sara is studying for an MA in Classical Art and Archaeology within CU Boulder’s Department of Classics. Prior to her time at CU, Sara received her undergraduate degree (also in Classics) from Brigham Young University and completed an MA in Museum Studies from Marist College and Istituto Lorenzo de ‘Medici in Florence, Italy. Through her various travels, Sara has become enchanted by the material culture left behind by the ancient Greeks and Romans and hopes to some day work in a museum, heading up the preservation and display of those numerous artifacts. As an academic and a frequent museum-goer, Sara is particularly interested in how technology can make the ancient world’s material culture more accessible to those who are limited by geographical restraints.

Sara is interested in a wide range of leisure activities, including, but not limited to, hiking, playing board games, reading historical fiction, binge-watching television, or simply enjoying time with friends and family.
