What is The Mentor Collective Program at CU Boulder?
The College of Arts and Sciences' Mentor Collective program enhances the student experience by linking A&S first-year students one-on-one with an upper division peer mentor. All students in the CU Boulder program identify as first-generation college students and/or students of color. Mentees are paired with a mentor who is invested in their success — a person ready to listen, inspire, help navigate challenges and recognize opportunities. Mentees will learn what to expect in school, how to approach challenges, gain career advice and learn valuable insights, while mentors will build their networks and develop skills to become better professionals and leaders.
