Hello, my name is Maria Martinez and I'm a second year student majoring in political science with a minor in leadership. I have lived in Aurora, Colorado my entire life. I'm currently a Multicultural Leadership scholar, a peer mentor for the MLS program and The Miramontes Arts & Sciences Program. Working in the A&S resource center gives me an opportunity to help first generation students (like myself) navigate the College of Arts and Sciences.
