Hi! My name is Julia Fontana and I am currently a senior majoring in integrative physiology and philosophy on a pre-med track. I went to high school in Denver, Colorado and spent my first year of college at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon playing soccer. I transferred to CU Boulder my sophomore year and joined the peer advising team in the spring semester. Outside of classes, I work in the Molecular Neurogenetics Laboratory, work in Dal Ward's athletic training room and volunteer at Boulder Community Hospital. I enjoy being a peer advisor, because I know how difficult the transition to college can be and I enjoy supporting students in achieving their academic goals.
