My name is Angel Gabriel Sanchez. I was born and raised in Tucson, AZ and now reside in Longmont, CO where I have lived for the past 8 years with my amazing partner Sonia Marquez and our three children Lilyana (13), Leo (3) and Luna (1).  I am a huge Batman fanatic, in fact my nickname is Mr. Batman (given to me by students I have worked with in the St. Vrain Valley School District).  I love sports but my favorite is Baseball. I still play in a league today and have coached at Longmont High School.

In May of 2017, I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado Boulder in English Literature with a Minor in Ethnic Studies.  I chose literature because it is the language of our souls and the stories of our lives.  I love and value education because I believe that we are constantly evolving as people and in learning we better ourselves every day.  Education is more than just learning.  It is a journey of self-discovery and reflection that guides us to become the best versions of ourselves that we can be.  My greatest goal in life is to ensure that anyone with a will and desire to learn and grow is provided that opportunity.
