Cory McKague
Sculpture & Post-Studio Practice

Cory McKague is a first year MFA student at CU Boulder in sculpture and post studio practice. Cory is an artist, educator and curator. He is currently furthering his research with community, human interaction and technology's relationship with the modern world as it relates to capitalism, consumerism and the Neo-American identity. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Northern Colorado with both a bachelors in K-12 Art Education as well as digital fabrication, he extended his work into the public sector by creating the nationally recognized Working Artist Project. The Working Artist Project is a community based project that reconstructs spaces for people to come together and form a community around creativity. Cory is also a rock climber and backpacker who has an affinity for the outdoors.
