Sasha Buckser (Ph.D Archaeology in Progress) successfully defended her independent research paper, "Exploring Early Historic Human-Canid Relationships in the Intermountain West: A Case Study From 17 th Century Black’s Fork, Wyoming."

Kelsey Hoppes (Ph.D Archaeology in Progress) successfully defended her independent research paper “Lost in the Details: Identifying a Multicultural Settlement through Attribute-Based Pottery Analysis in Northeastern Nebraska.” Her committee included Dr. Douglas Bamforth, Dr. Samantha Fladd, and Dr. Scott Ortman.

Ph.D. student Katie Donlan successfully defended her masters research paper, “Claimed and Contested: Wabanaki Sovereignty Policy in Maine” Her committee included Professors Annette de Steche, Jen Shannon, and Carole McGranahan. She has now received a masters in Anthropology. Great work, Katie!

Congratulations to Georgia Butcher who successfully defended her prospectus, "Eye of the Reaper: Drone Pilots, Remote Warfare, and Imperial Surveillance in Central New York.” Her committee included Professors Alison Cool, Jen Shannon, Lorraine Bayard de Volo, Carole McGranahan, and Donna Goldstein. She now advances to Phd candidacy.
