Paul W. Kroll has recently been elected to the American Philosophical Society, an eminent scholarly organization that has played an important role in Americal cultural and intellectual life for over 270 years. Early members included George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and other illustrious names have continually been added such as Charles Darwin, Elizabeth Cabot Agassiz, Thomas Edison and Margaret Mead. Kroll is the first Humanities scholar of CU ever to be awarded this honor. — Congratulations to Professor Kroll on this extraordinary recognition of his manifold achievements!
