Congratulations to Keller Kimbrough for his new co-edited volume, Monsters, Animals, and Other Worlds: A Collection of Short Medieval Japanese Tales (New York: Columbia University Press, 2018).  The book is a collection of translations of 25 works of Japanese illustrated fiction from the 14th through early 17th centuries.  It is especially notable for containing the work of four former graduate students in the Japanese program at CU:  William Bryant (MA 2014), Kelley Doore (MA 2012), Raechel Dumas (PhD 2015), and Tamara Solomon (MA 2015).
