CERUNAS

Collision Encounter Reduction for Unmanned Aerial Systems CERUNAS: Project Sponsor: Customer: Project Advisors: Project Manager: Team Members: Reviews & Reports PDD CDD PDR CDR MSR TRR SPR AIAA Symposium Poster

COMET

Colorado Mini Engine Team COMET: Project Sponsor: Customer: Project Advisors: Project Manager: Team Members: Reviews & Reports PDD CDD PDR CDR MSR TRR SPR AIAA Symposium Poster

DARE

Descending/Ascending Rover for Exploration is the design and build a Child Rover (CR) that is capable of deploying, communicating, and docking with the previously designed TREADS Mother Rover (MR), while also being able to ascend and descend slopes between 30o and 70o. These slopes will replicate a sandstone surface found when exploring canyon walls, craters, and caverns.

GHOST

Geocentric Heliogyro Operational Solar-Sail Technology (GHOST) will design, build, and test a heliogyro solar sail deployment and pitching mechanism packaged into a CubeSat of up to 12U and capable of deploying and pitching adequately sized solar sail blades to provide a characteristic acceleration of 0.1 mm/s2.

ODINSun

Observing Dust Impacts Near the Sun (ODINSun) will design a protoflight dust impact monitor to characterize the dust environment within 0.041 and 0.24 AU from the surface of the Sun.

PIRANHA

Proximity Identification, chaRacterization, And Neutralization by tHinking before Acquisition PIRANHA: Project Sponsor: Lockheed Martin Customer: Barbara Bicknell Project Advisors: Dr. Jelliffe Jackson (CU) & Jeffrey Weber (Lockheed Martin) Project Manager: Ryan Slabaugh Team Members: : Aaron Buysse, Chad Caplan, Matt Holmes, Colin Nugen, Kevin Rauhauser, Ryan Slabaugh, Rebecca Travers Reviews...

SAVI

Satellite Active Vibration Inverter (SAVI) will develop a satellite active vibration inversion mount system that will identify and cancel low frequency vibrations from a cryocooler that cause image smearing on a telescopic camera.

Scout

Scout is an indoor quadrotor to navigate through doorways.

SIVAQ

Signal Integrity Verifying Autonomous Quadrotor (SIVAQ) will augment the capabilities of the Parrot AR Drone 2.0 such that it flies autonomously with a predetermined flight path, records data, relays data, and detects and responds to GPS Radio Frequency Interference (RFI).

TIRESIAS

Telemetric Interplanetary Regolith Explorer for Seismic Investigation of Asteroid Surfaces TIRESIAS: Project Sponsor: Ball Aerospace Customer: Joseph Hackel Project Advisors: Dr. Scott Palo (CU) Project Manager: Rachael Collins Team Members: Ian Berry, Rachael Collins, Jonathon Fraker, Patrick Haas, Tom Johnson, Austin Lillard, John Marcantonio, Scott Taylor Reports PDD CDD PDR...
