Before arriving at CU Boulder, Jazmin completed a Bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology and Sports Studies at Bryant University, where she played Division I volleyball. While at Bryant, she worked within the athletic department doing life skills programming and academic tutoring for student-athletes. Jazmin then moved on to earn a Master’s of Education in Athletic Counseling at Springfield College. During her time at Springfield, she was an Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach, Psychology Department Teaching Fellow and an Athletic Counselor to multiple sports teams at various universities. She also worked as a Sport Counselor at Utah State working with student-athletes in academics, personal/career/leadership development and community outreach before landing at CU.
As a native of Durango, Colorado, Jazmin is extremely happy to be back in CO! She grew up hiking, mountain biking, peak climbing, and camping. In addition to anything outdoors, Jazmin enjoys cooking, hockey, photography, volleyball, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
