Rob Tallmadge

Biography

With over 25 years of non-profit experience in business operations and organizational support, Rob has worked with a wide range of colleagues in creating relationships and institutional alliances to ensure mission support and excellence. Strategic success has been central to every position Rob has held, whether through education and early learning, through financial direction of initiatives related to child abuse prevention, or through workforce development programs. Rob understands that working closely with stakeholders and team members in every facet of an organization is critical to collaborative progress and is excited to bring that understanding as the Executive Director of Business Operations for the Office of Advancement. 

Most recently, as VP of Real Estate, Facilities, Procurement and Customer Experience with Goodwill Industries of Denver, Rob worked directly with senior management as an organizational leader and project coordinator to help manage a $48M budget. Previously, he helped direct the expansion of a system-wide data base while managing a comprehensive dashboard detailing key performance indicators. Rob also served as Finance Director and interim CEO of the Kempe Foundation, utilizing best financial practices to oversee fund management, working to ensure GAAP compliance and highest standards of donor and gift stewardship. Rob has also managed the financial and operations divisions of a Denver independent school.

Rob is a University of Denver graduate yet Buffs are in his family including his wife, son and numerous family members. A native Coloradan, Rob received is BA in English and MBA from the University of Denver.  He treasures the beauty and abundant variety of Colorado’s landscapes and natural environment and enjoys skiing, fly fishing, biking and whatever else takes him outside. Rob is a dedicated volunteer in many organizations.
