Peter Sanders

Biography 

Peter K. Sanders serves as Assistant Dean for Advancement, leading the school's fundraising and alumni engagement efforts. Peter earned his bachelor's degree in English from Guilford College, and master's degrees in Classics and Philosophy and American Literature from St. Johns College, Annapolis and the State University of New York at Buffalo, respectively.

His career spans nearly twenty years of fundraising in higher education, including positions at the University of Vermont, the University of California, Davis, and the University of California, San Diego, where he led fundraising for the university's Division of Physical Sciences.

Peter also held multiple positions at the University of Colorado Law School from 2004 to 2009 under the tenure of Dean David Getches, playing a critical role in raising capital funds for the Wolf Law Building. He is honored to help advance Colorado Law's exceptional teaching, research, and public service mission.
