Congratulations on your admission to CU Boulder! Take a moment to celebrate and be proud of yourself—all of your hard work has paid off. Whether you are ready to confirm right away or need to contemplate your options, you should review the following information so you know what comes next in the admission process.
Let Us Know If You're #BoulderBound
Confirming your intent to enroll: Log in to your application status page to confirm your intent to enroll. Pay attention to the confirmation deadline (May 1st for freshman students starting in the fall) and the deposit amount. Your $200 confirmation deposit is not refundable if you confirm your intent to enroll and later decide not to register and attend classes. It will take at least one business day for your confirmation to be processed and added to your account. The deposit can be paid with an electronic check or a credit card. There is a 2.75% service fee assessed with credit card payments, which comes out to $5.50 for the $200 confirmation deposit. The confirmation fee and the service fee are nonrefundable.
Deferring your admission: If you would like to defer your enrollment for up to one year, you can do so by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. We will post a deferral request form to your status page, which you should fill out with the term to which you would like to be deferred, the reason(s) for the deferral and what you will be doing during the deferment period. The deadline to request a deferral is the first day of class for the original term that you applied to.
Declining your admission: If you decide to not attend CU Boulder, log in to your application status page, click the 'Confirm your intent to enroll' form and select 'I DECLINE my offer of admission.'
