Let Us Know If You're #BoulderBound
Confirming your intent to enroll: Log in to your application status page to confirm your intent to enroll. Pay attention to the confirmation deadline and the deposit amount. Your $200 confirmation deposit is not refundable if you confirm your intent to enroll and later decide not to register and attend classes. It will take at least one business day for your confirmation to be processed and added to your account. The deposit can be paid with an electronic check or a credit card. There is a 2.75% service fee assessed with credit card payments, which comes out to $5.50 for the $200 confirmation deposit. The confirmation fee and the service fee are nonrefundable.
Admitted to CU but not your first choice program? When you apply to CU Boulder with a first-choice and second-choice major selected, the Admission Committee will thoroughly review your application for your first-choice major. Certain majors are very popular and there is a limit on the number of students they can enroll. As a result, admission to these programs has become increasingly competitive. If you were admitted to your second choice major, you were not competitive for admission to your first choice program. You will work with academic advisors in the University Exploratory Advising Center to explore a variety of academic paths across campus.
Deferring your admission: If you would like to defer your enrollment for up to one year, you can do so by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. This request must be submitted prior to the first day of classes for the term to which you were originally admitted. Please include your full legal name, your date of birth, the term to which you would like to be deferred, the reason(s) for the deferral and what you will be doing during the deferment period.
Declining your admission: If you decide to not attend CU Boulder, log in to your application status page, click the 'Confirm your intent to enroll' form and select 'I DECLINE my offer of admission.'
