The Leeds School of Business twelvemonth master’s program in finance offers an in-depth, focused finance education at the University of Colorado Boulder. The program is designed for students who possess a strong quantitative aptitude but not necessarily a background in finance. Unlike most twoyear MBAs, the program does not require work experience.
Students can choose from tracks in asset management and corporate finance/consulting. The curriculum is designed to equip graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to be competitive in the finance marketplace, with employment opportunities in financial institutions (like asset management firms and banks), corporations and consulting firms. The curriculum is also excellent preparation for the CFA exams, and students can take advantage of a number of professional development services, such as career advising, interview skills, resume writing, mentoring and other professional enrichment seminars.
