The Certificate in Cognitive Science at CU­Boulder prepares students for many of the fields that are predicted to grow in the twenty­first century, including telecommunications, information processing, medical analysis, data retrieval, education and multimedia. As the world is enveloped by the information age, cognitive scientists will be uniquely positioned to deal with this information.

CU undergraduate students majoring in psychology and neuroscience, philosophy, linguistics, computer science, speech, language and hearing sciences, education or architecture and planning are all eligible for the Cognitive Science Certificate, which will extend the breadth of their major degree fields.
